Last updated July 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ARV, the direct-to-consumer brand of Arrive Accounting (“ARV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our services. By using the services, you agree to the practices described here.

  1. 01Information we collect

We collect the information needed to provide accounting and tax services, including:

    • Contact information: your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
    • Business information: company name, tax identification numbers, and professional details for firm owners and staff
    • Financial information: bank and card transaction history, tax-related documents, and financial statements
    • Communication data: the content of messages, emails, calls, and other communications within the platform
    • Documents: source documents, prepared returns, platform-generated reports, and other materials you upload
  2. 02How we use your information

    We use your information to:

    • Provide, deliver, and maintain the services, including preparing and reviewing your books and returns
    • Operate our automated systems, whose outputs are validated by licensed professionals before they are relied upon
    • Improve the accuracy, reliability, and quality of the services
    • Communicate with you, including requests, updates, and reminders
    • Protect against fraud and abuse, and comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
  3. 03Model improvement and human validation

Where we use client work to improve the accuracy of our systems, the corrections and validations performed by our licensed CPAs and accountants form the training signal. We apply strict access controls and safeguards to protect your information throughout this process, and we do not use it for purposes incompatible with providing the services.

  4. 04How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to operate the services: with service providers who help us deliver them (such as hosting, payment, and software integrations) under confidentiality obligations; with the accountants and reviewers assigned to your work; and where required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

  5. 05Data security

We protect your information with measures that include encryption of sensitive data both in transit and at rest, regular security audits and testing, and strict access controls and authentication procedures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  6. 06Data retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the services and to meet our legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it.

  7. 07Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

    • Access and update the personal information we hold about you
    • Opt out of marketing communications
    • Request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format
    • Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal and regulatory retention obligations
  8. 08Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the service to function, along with functional, performance, and, where applicable, advertising cookies. You can manage non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

  9. 09Children's privacy

The services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
